New Engen review

STRONG FIT

One of the few shops in this category that owns both the studio and the ad account — in-house production (Donut Studios) plus a creator network (Grapevine) sitting next to the media buying, which is what makes creative iteration possible rather than aspirational. No public pricing, and be aware they publish the 'best UGC agencies' list that ranks themselves.

No published price we can link to. We do not estimate one — ask on the call, and see the pricing-transparency line in the scores below.

Verdict

New Engen scores well on the dimension most vendors in this category fail: the feedback loop. Its in-house studio, Donut Studios, produces social-native video, photography and statics built specifically for paid social, and its performance-creator arm, Grapevine, handles UGC production and creator whitelisting for paid distribution across Meta, TikTok and YouTube. Because New Engen also runs the media, the people making the next round of creative can see what the last round did — the ship-and-stop failure that caps every production-only vendor in this file does not apply here. Named clients span mid-market consumer (Altra, Cotopaxi, arrae, Rugiet) and larger CPG work (OREO, Coca-Cola, Ocean Spray, Mondelez), which is a wider spread than most shops this size can support. Two cautions. First, pricing is entirely unpublished, so the buyer has no anchor going into the conversation and this record cannot tell you the minimum. Second — and this is a judgment about evidence, not about the work — a large share of what is publicly written about New Engen's creative capability is written by New Engen, including an widely-circulated 'Best UGC Creative Agencies for Paid Social 2026' list on its own site that places itself first. That is the category norm rather than a specific sin (see the note on this category's sourcing), but it means the independent evidence base here is thinner than the volume of available material suggests. Treat the capability claims as credible-but-vendor-stated until a reference check confirms throughput.

What we verified

Each claim below was checked against a named source, last on 2026-08-11. Follow any of them and check for yourself — that is the point of publishing them.

What other platforms say

Little independent review volume; most available material about this agency's creative capability is published by the agency.

These are other platforms' numbers, not ours. We report them because they are part of the picture, and we do not average them into our score — our score comes from the published rubric above.

Red flags

How it scored

Production volume and velocity

Strong · partly_checkable

Owns a named in-house studio plus a creator network, which is a genuine two-channel supply. No stated assets-per-month figure anywhere public, so the ceiling is unknown. Live check 2026-08-11: 4 of 4 named clients are running active advertiser-scoped programmes (see verified findings). Client scale is corroborated; attribution of those ads to this agency is not, so the label is unchanged.

Brand-system adherence

Strong · vendor-stated

Describes its studio output as 'brand-controlled, high-fidelity,' which is the right framing, but no public description of a preflight or check step before client review.

Variant and localization capacity

Strong · inferred

Multi-platform delivery across Meta, TikTok and YouTube implies real format and placement coverage. No evidence of multi-language or multi-market transcreation; assume US-only until confirmed.

Creative iteration tied to performance

Excellent · verified

The studio sits inside a media agency that runs the paid accounts. This is the structural condition for iteration, and it is the single strongest reason to consider this vendor over a production-only shop.

Compliance and claim handling

Adequate · inferred

CPG client work (Mondelez, Coca-Cola, Ocean Spray) implies exposure to claim review, but nothing is stated publicly. Scored neutral at low confidence rather than penalised.

Ownership and continuity

Adequate · inferred

No public statement on who owns source files or raw footage, and creator-content usage rights are unaddressed publicly. Whitelisting arrangements in particular need explicit terms — ask.

Pricing and contract transparency

Weak · verified

No published rates, minimums or contract length. Buyer enters the conversation with no anchor.
