Breadnbeyond review
Animation-only explainer studio with the most legible package structure in the category: three named tiers with itemised inclusions, per-tier delivery windows, and source files handed over as standard on two of three — but no live action, and the tier prices themselves are withheld behind a "from $1,000".
Pricing: from $1,000 Published by the agency
Pricing starts from $1,000, with three named packages (Advanced, Premium, Ultimate) whose inclusions differ on concept count, Creative Director access, animator staffing and output resolution. source ↗
Verdict
Breadnbeyond publishes more of the things a buyer actually needs to compare than almost anyone evaluated in this category, and withholds the one thing everyone withholds. Its three tiers — Advanced, Premium and Ultimate — are set out with explicit itemised differences rather than marketing adjectives: concept count (1 vs 1 vs 3), whether a Creative Director session is included, whether one animator or an extra animator team is assigned, and output resolution (1080p vs 1080p vs 4K). All three include script writing, voiceover, graphics, animation, sound effects and background music for one minute of video, with a stated surcharge for every additional ten seconds. That is a buyable specification, not a brochure. Two things stand out as genuinely unusual. Delivery windows are published PER TIER — five weeks or more for Advanced and Premium, seven weeks or more for Ultimate — where most of this category will not commit to a number at all until a call. And source files are included as standard in Premium and Ultimate and available as a paid add-on in Advanced. Rights is the weakest-scoring dimension across every video record in this library precisely because nobody addresses it; stating that the client gets the project files, on the pricing page, without being asked, is the strongest rights signal found in the category so far. What holds it to CONDITIONAL is the pairing of a thin verifiable portfolio with a narrow production range. The named work located first-hand amounts to one attributed testimonial (Björn A. Forsberg of FORSBERG+two); the recognisable names on the page — Google, Shell, Amazon, Accenture — are attached to "over 5,000 people from companies like", which is audience language, not a client list, and should not be read as either. And this is an animation studio: no live-action capability was evidenced anywhere. For an animated explainer with a fixed scope and a real deadline that is a good fit. For a brief that might need a shoot, it is the wrong shortlist. The "from $1,000" headline is the soft spot. Given the tier inclusions, a realistic Premium or Ultimate project will land well above it, so treat that figure as a floor with no ceiling published and get the tier price in writing before scoping.

What other platforms say
No independent review base located first-hand. The only attributed feedback found is a single testimonial on the vendor's own pricing page.
These are other platforms' numbers, not ours. We report them because they are part of the picture, and we do not average them into our score — our score comes from the published rubric above.
Red flags
- "Best price guaranteed" appears next to the starting price. A price-match claim with no stated terms is unverifiable and is not evidence of anything.
- The Google, Shell, Amazon and Accenture names sit close enough to the packages to read as a client list on a quick scan, but the sentence they belong to describes webinar attendees. Read that line carefully before treating it as social proof.
How it scored
Craft and portfolio evidence
One named client testimonial located first-hand. The Google/Shell/Amazon/Accenture names on the pricing page describe an audience of "over 5,000 people from companies like" — not clients, and not scored as such.
Scope and pricing transparency
Three named tiers with itemised, genuinely differentiating inclusions, a stated per-ten-second surcharge past the first minute, and a published "from $1,000" floor. Held below Excellent because the per-tier prices themselves are not published.
Process and project management
Script writing, storyboard, animation and revision rounds are described as sequential stages, and unlimited revisions are offered on all three tiers. No named collaboration tooling and no defined approval gates.
Format and production range
Animation only. No live action, studio or location capability evidenced anywhere on the pricing page. A brief that may need a shoot is out of scope here.
Rights, ownership and licensing
Source files included as standard on Premium and Ultimate, and purchasable on Advanced — stated unprompted on the pricing page. The strongest rights position found in this category. Licence duration for music, stock and voiceover is still not addressed.
Turnaround and scheduling
Delivery windows published per tier: five weeks or more (Advanced, Premium), seven weeks or more (Ultimate), with "5 to 7 weeks depending on our workload" stated as the general case. Committing to a number in public is rare in this category.
References and review base
No Clutch or G2 profile, review count or third-party rating located from the pages read. Absence of a link is not absence of a profile; this was not established either way.
What we could not verify
- The actual price of each of the three tiers — only a "from $1,000" floor is published
- How long the music, stock and voiceover licences run
- Whether any live-action capability exists at all
- Whether an independent review profile (Clutch, G2) exists
- What "unlimited revisions" bounds in practice — no cap, stage gate or time limit is stated
