Consultwebs review
Worth a conversation about SEO once the caveats below are settled.
A law-firm-only marketing agency with a published AI-search method and a lead-to-signed-case tracking tool, but thin detail on how links are earned and no price on its own site.
Pricing: several published tiers Reported — not published by the agency
Clutch lists 'Minimum project size: $5,000+', 'Hourly rate: $100 - $149' and a 4.9 average from 6 reviews. source ↗
How it scored
Every dimension is scored against this discipline’s published rubric. Open one to see the claim it was scored on, what the rubric measures there and how much it weighs, and where the evidence came from.
How we scored this
We read the agency’s public record first-hand — its site, pricing, case studies and independent reviews — and score what is checkable: what is published, not how it is phrased. There is no keyword counting or sentiment scoring. The label is a judgment on those facts, which is why each dimension shows the fact that decided it, the band it was judged against, and the sources — so you can check the call, and tell us if you think it is wrong. The full method, and who pays, is on how we vet.
Vertical and stage fitStrong
Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 20% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 17 · Strong 9 · Adequate 4 · Weak 5. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 17 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Named clients in the buyer's vertical and stage (B2B SaaS, ecommerce, local, etc.).
Scores low — Direct sector+stage match scores 5; 'we do SEO for everyone' scores 2. Long-sales-cycle B2B SEO is a different craft from ecommerce or local, mismatch scores 1-2.
What we found — Law firms only, with 'a particular concentration on personal injury law' stated on the SEO page. Named clients on the site include Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, Jebaily Law Firm, David Resnick & Associates, Marks & Harrison and Morris, King & Hodge. Strong fit for a law-firm buyer, particularly personal injury; no fit outside legal.
On the record — “The AI SEO page reports that Morris, King & Hodge, P.C. achieved 'Primary Citations in ChatGPT for “Top personal injury lawyers in Huntsville.”'” consultwebs.com ↗
On the record — “The AI SEO page states 'To avoid conflicts of interest, we work with a maximum of three law firms in any geographic area.'” consultwebs.com ↗
B2B — business-to-business: selling to companies rather than consumers — longer deals, more decision-makers.
SaaS — software as a service: subscription software; as a client type it brings recurring revenue and metrics like churn and lifetime value.
Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.
Technical SEO depthAdequate
Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 13 · Strong 5 · Adequate 10 · Weak 7. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 18 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Real technical capability: crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, indexation, schema, migrations, JS rendering.
Scores high — Named technical audits and fixes with outcomes score 4-5.
Scores low — 'We'll optimize your meta tags' with no technical substance scores 1-2.
What we found — The SEO page lists 'Site speed optimization', 'Crawlability and indexation improvements', mobile and HTTPS work, and 'Implementation of schema markup for rich snippets'. These are listed services; no named audit, migration, Core Web Vitals or JS-rendering work with an outcome was found. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.
Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.
Content quality and topical authorityAdequate
Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 18% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 7 · Strong 16 · Adequate 6 · Weak 6. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 23 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Genuinely researched, expert or expert-reviewed content that builds topical authority, not thin AI-generated churn.
Scores high — Named writers/SMEs, editorial process, and content that ranks and converts score 4-5.
Scores low — High-volume, low-differentiation AI content 'at scale' scores 1-2 (Google's helpful-content and AI-slop filters punish it).
What we found — The SEO page states content is 'written by legal experts and licensed attorneys'. No named writers, editorial review process or published sample of attorney-reviewed content was found to check the claim. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.
On the record — “The SEO page lists 'Content written by legal experts and licensed attorneys', 'Crawlability and indexation improvements', 'Development of high-quality, relevant backlinks' and 'Regular reporting on keyword rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation', and states 'Our main metric of success is your return on investment.'” consultwebs.com ↗
churn — the rate at which customers cancel.
Evidence: vendor stated — the agency’s own claim, recorded as theirs rather than ours.
Link building integrityWeak
Weak — 2 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 12% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 5 · Strong 13 · Adequate 13 · Weak 4. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 31 of them score higher than this one.
Scores high — Earned links via digital PR, original data, and genuine outreach score 4-5.
Scores low — PBNs, link networks, mass guest-post buying, or 'we'll build 50 links/month' packages score 1-2 (penalty risk). Silence on how links are earned scores 2.
What we found — Link work is described only as 'Development of high-quality, relevant backlinks' and 'Strategic outreach to legal directories and publications'. No digital PR, original data or earned-link method is described; no link-buying package is advertised either. That is what the low band describes, which is why it scored Weak.
Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.
Stronger here: Reboot Online scores Excellent on the same dimension.
AEO / GEO for AI searchStrong
Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 7 · Strong 14 · Adequate 5 · Weak 6 · Poor 3. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 7 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: The 2026 differentiator. Does the agency have a real practice for getting the client cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Reddit visibility)? Buzzword-only with no substance scores 3.
Scores high — Named methodology and examples score 4-5.
Scores low — No mention of AI search / answer-engine optimization scores 2 (behind the curve).
What we found — The AI SEO page publishes a named process (content gap analysis and 'Query Fanout', HTML structure, AI-driven content and schema optimisation, syndication to YouTube and social) and says 'We track multiple LLMs like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude', calling the data directional and naming its limits. The Morris, King & Hodge result ('Primary Citations in ChatGPT for “Top personal injury lawyers in Huntsville.”') is the agency's own claim. That is the high band above, which is why it scored Strong.
On the record — “The AI SEO page reports that Morris, King & Hodge, P.C. achieved 'Primary Citations in ChatGPT for “Top personal injury lawyers in Huntsville.”'” consultwebs.com ↗
On the record — “The AI SEO page says 'We track your visibility across AI tools, monitoring how often your law firm appears when testing relevant prompts' and 'We track multiple LLMs like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.'” consultwebs.com ↗
syndication — content syndication: paying to put content in front of a media vendor’s audience in exchange for the contact lists it generates. The leads run colder than inbound and need nurturing.
Evidence: partly checkable — corroborated in part against the sources below; the remainder rests on the agency’s own account.
Measurement tied to pipeline, not just rankingsAdequate
Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 8 · Strong 11 · Adequate 7 · Weak 9. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 19 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Ties SEO to pipeline/revenue (organic-sourced pipeline, conversions, assisted revenue) rather than keyword-ranking screenshots.
Scores high — Pipeline/revenue reporting scores 4-5.
Scores low — Rankings-and-traffic-only reporting scores 1-2, especially given AI Overviews are cutting clicks even when rankings hold.
What we found — The SEO page says 'Our main metric of success is your return on investment'; the Resnick case study describes a 'transparent ROI tracking system to monitor every dollar from click to signed case'; the LawEval page says its Leads module shows 'which leads are turning into signed clients'. Offsetting this, the SEO page's reporting list is 'keyword rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation', and case-study ROI figures come with no case counts, revenue or spend. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.
On the record — “The LawEval page describes a Leads module that shows 'which leads are turning into signed clients'.” consultwebs.com ↗
On the record — “The David Resnick case study reports an '891% ROI on their digital ad spend' tracked 'from click to signed case', without stating case counts, revenue or ad spend.” consultwebs.com ↗
pipeline — the dollar value of open, qualified deals sales is working. “Pipeline created” ties marketing to money, where lead counts don’t.
Evidence: partly checkable — corroborated in part against the sources below; the remainder rests on the agency’s own account.
Contract and pricing transparencyWeak
Weak — 2 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 5% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 3 · Strong 7 · Adequate 10 · Weak 13 · Poor 2. The typical agency here scores Adequate, and 20 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: SEO takes months to show, so a fair exit clause matters more here.
Scores high — Month-to-month or short terms with a published pricing anchor score 4-5.
Scores low — 12-month lock-ins score 2. Bespoke-only quoting with no anchor scores 1-2.
What we found — No price, range, minimum or contract term on the agency's site. The FAQ's answer to 'How much does it cost to work with Consultwebs.com?' links to a 'How We Price' page (/lawyer-seo/pricing/), which is a general article on price disparity with no Consultwebs figure or term. The only anchor found is third-party: Clutch lists 'Minimum project size: $5,000+' and 'Hourly rate: $100 - $149'. That is what the low band describes, which is why it scored Weak.
On the record — “Clutch lists 'Minimum project size: $5,000+', 'Hourly rate: $100 - $149' and a 4.9 average from 6 reviews.” clutch.co ↗
On the record — “The FAQ answers 'How much does it cost to work with Consultwebs.com?' with 'please see our How We Price page', and that page states no Consultwebs price, minimum or contract term.” consultwebs.com ↗
Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.
Stronger here: InsuranceSplash scores Excellent on the same dimension.
Verdict
Consultwebs markets law firms only, with a stated concentration on personal injury: SEO, AI SEO, paid advertising, web design, video and social. A nonsense-path control on its domain returned a real HTTP 404.
Its AI-search practice is the most specific part of the site. The AI SEO page lays out a campaign process (content gap analysis and query fan-out, HTML structure, schema, syndication to video and social) and says it tracks how often a firm appears when testing prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.
It also states the limits of that tracking, describing the data as directional. One named client, Morris, King & Hodge, is reported as gaining ChatGPT citations and AI Overview visibility; that outcome is the agency's own claim.
Measurement is framed around return on investment. The SEO page calls ROI its main metric, a case study says it tracked every dollar 'from click to signed case', and the LawEval tool is described as showing which leads turn into signed clients. The SEO page's own reporting list, however, names keyword rankings, organic traffic and lead generation, and the case studies give ratios (7:1, 891%) without the case counts, revenue or spend behind them.
Technical SEO and content are described as checklists rather than demonstrated work: site speed, crawlability and indexation, schema, and content 'written by legal experts and licensed attorneys', with no named writers or audit examples. Link building is described only as 'high-quality, relevant backlinks' and outreach to legal directories and publications.
The site gives no price. The FAQ's cost answer points to a 'How We Price' page that is a general article on why law-firm SEO prices vary and states no figure, minimum or contract term. The agency's Clutch profile lists a $5,000+ minimum project size and a $100-$149 hourly rate, with a 4.9 rating from 6 reviews.

What other platforms say
Clutch shows a 4.9 average from 6 reviews, too few to establish a consensus. Individual review text was not read. The agency's own site shows written testimonials only.
These are other platforms' numbers, not ours. We report them because they are part of the picture, and we do not average them into our score — our score comes from the published rubric above.
What we could not verify
- Monthly retainer price and contract length
- Whether the client owns the website, content and ad accounts on exit
- How backlinks are actually earned (no examples published)
- Case counts, revenue and spend behind the published ROI ratios
- Names or credentials of the attorneys who write or review content
