Grow Law Firm review

Conditional for SEO

Worth a conversation about SEO once the caveats below are settled.

A law-firm-only SEO and marketing agency that publishes price anchors, a cancel-anytime term and a specific AI-search measurement method, but says almost nothing about how it earns links.

How it scored

Every dimension is scored against this discipline’s published rubric. Open one to see the claim it was scored on, what the rubric measures there and how much it weighs, and where the evidence came from.

How we scored this

We read the agency’s public record first-hand — its site, pricing, case studies and independent reviews — and score what is checkable: what is published, not how it is phrased. There is no keyword counting or sentiment scoring. The label is a judgment on those facts, which is why each dimension shows the fact that decided it, the band it was judged against, and the sources — so you can check the call, and tell us if you think it is wrong. The full method, and who pays, is on how we vet.

Vertical and stage fitStrong

Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 20% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 17 · Strong 9 · Adequate 4 · Weak 5. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 17 of them score higher than this one.

What this dimension measures: Named clients in the buyer's vertical and stage (B2B SaaS, ecommerce, local, etc.).

Scores low — Direct sector+stage match scores 5; 'we do SEO for everyone' scores 2. Long-sales-cycle B2B SEO is a different craft from ecommerce or local, mismatch scores 1-2.

What we found — Law firms only: the homepage states 'Law firms only. Every benchmark comes from 160+ firms like yours'. The results page lists 24 case studies whose URLs name the client firm, and the Omar Ochoa Law study gives a client profile (2-10 lawyers, insurance litigation and personal injury, McAllen TX). A direct match for law-firm buyers; not a fit outside legal.

On the record — “The homepage states 'Law firms only. Every benchmark comes from 160+ firms like yours' and '$0 setup. Cancel anytime.'” growlaw.co ↗

On the record — “The results page lists 24 case studies, each linked under /results/ with the client firm's name in the URL.” growlaw.co ↗

B2B — business-to-business: selling to companies rather than consumers — longer deals, more decision-makers.

SaaS — software as a service: subscription software; as a client type it brings recurring revenue and metrics like churn and lifetime value.

Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.

Technical SEO depthAdequate

Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 13 · Strong 5 · Adequate 10 · Weak 7. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 18 of them score higher than this one.

What this dimension measures: Real technical capability: crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, indexation, schema, migrations, JS rendering.

Scores high — Named technical audits and fixes with outcomes score 4-5.

Scores low — 'We'll optimize your meta tags' with no technical substance scores 1-2.

What we found — The SEO page covers technical work in one line: 'We handle your site speed, mobile performance, and indexing issues'. The GEO page adds crawl access and attorney, practice-area and review schema. No named technical audit, migration or Core Web Vitals work with an outcome was found. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.

On the record — “The SEO page describes technical work as 'We handle your site speed, mobile performance, and indexing issues so nothing hurts your visibility' and links as 'We secure high-authority backlinks from trusted sources to strengthen your domain and outrank competitors.'” growlaw.co ↗

Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.

Content quality and topical authorityAdequate

Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 18% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 7 · Strong 16 · Adequate 6 · Weak 6. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 23 of them score higher than this one.

What this dimension measures: Genuinely researched, expert or expert-reviewed content that builds topical authority, not thin AI-generated churn.

Scores high — Named writers/SMEs, editorial process, and content that ranks and converts score 4-5.

Scores low — High-volume, low-differentiation AI content 'at scale' scores 1-2 (Google's helpful-content and AI-slop filters punish it).

What we found — The SEO page states 'Our in-house attorney quality-checks every piece of content for legal accuracy'. Writers are not named, the editorial process is not described, and whether AI drafts the content is not stated. Attorney review is a stated process that cannot be checked from outside. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.

On the record — “The SEO page states 'Our in-house attorney quality-checks every piece of content for legal accuracy'.” growlaw.co ↗

churn — the rate at which customers cancel.

Evidence: partly checkable — corroborated in part against the sources below; the remainder rests on the agency’s own account.

Link building integrityWeak

Weak — 2 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 12% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 5 · Strong 13 · Adequate 13 · Weak 4. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 31 of them score higher than this one.

Scores high — Earned links via digital PR, original data, and genuine outreach score 4-5.

Scores low — PBNs, link networks, mass guest-post buying, or 'we'll build 50 links/month' packages score 1-2 (penalty risk). Silence on how links are earned scores 2.

What we found — Link building is described only as 'We secure high-authority backlinks from trusted sources to strengthen your domain and outrank competitors'. The GEO page mentions building mentions in legal directories and industry publications. No digital PR, original data or outreach method is published, and link volume is not stated (neither are link packages). That is what the low band describes, which is why it scored Weak.

On the record — “The SEO page describes technical work as 'We handle your site speed, mobile performance, and indexing issues so nothing hurts your visibility' and links as 'We secure high-authority backlinks from trusted sources to strengthen your domain and outrank competitors.'” growlaw.co ↗

Stronger here: Reboot Online scores Excellent on the same dimension.

AEO / GEO for AI searchStrong

Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 7 · Strong 14 · Adequate 5 · Weak 6 · Poor 3. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 7 of them score higher than this one.

What this dimension measures: The 2026 differentiator. Does the agency have a real practice for getting the client cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Reddit visibility)? Buzzword-only with no substance scores 3.

Scores high — Named methodology and examples score 4-5.

Scores low — No mention of AI search / answer-engine optimization scores 2 (behind the curve).

What we found — A published measurement method: 'Each project gets a fixed set of 10 practice-area prompts', run across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity, '4 to 6 scans per platform per month', 'reported per platform, never blended'. Names concrete steps (allowing OAI-SearchBot, attorney and practice-area schema) and states schema 'does not guarantee a citation'. The outcome figures (33 of 38 firms with an AI-attributed lead) are vendor-stated. Scored Strong rather than Excellent: the method is published and specific, but no outcome has been checked outside the agency. That is the high band above, which is why it scored Strong.

On the record — “The GEO page states 'Each project gets a fixed set of 10 practice-area prompts' run across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity, and 'Results are reported per platform, never blended'.” growlaw.co ↗

On the record — “The GEO page states 'OpenAI requires sites to allow OAI-SearchBot for content to be eligible for ChatGPT search' and that structured data 'does not guarantee a citation'.” growlaw.co ↗

Measurement tied to pipeline, not just rankingsStrong

Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 8 · Strong 10 · Adequate 8 · Weak 9. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 8 of them score higher than this one.

What this dimension measures: Ties SEO to pipeline/revenue (organic-sourced pipeline, conversions, assisted revenue) rather than keyword-ranking screenshots.

Scores high — Pipeline/revenue reporting scores 4-5.

Scores low — Rankings-and-traffic-only reporting scores 1-2, especially given AI Overviews are cutting clicks even when rankings hold.

What we found — The homepage says 'Most agencies report on traffic. We report on cases.' and that every lead is 'verified against your CRM'. The case study read gives each metric a date range and source ('Grow Law Growth Portal', 'Semrush'). The headline metrics are mostly qualified leads, cost per lead and traffic; signed-case and revenue figures are the agency's own and were not independently checked. That is the high band above, which is why it scored Strong.

On the record — “The homepage states 'Most agencies report on traffic. We report on cases. Every lead is tracked, scored by AI, and verified against your CRM'.” growlaw.co ↗

On the record — “The Omar Ochoa Law case study reports '+1,087% Qualified Leads Jul–Sep 2023 → Apr–Jun 2025 Source: Grow Law Growth Portal' and '+655% Organic Traffic Jul 2023 → Jun 2025 Source: Semrush'.” growlaw.co ↗

pipeline — the dollar value of open, qualified deals sales is working. “Pipeline created” ties marketing to money, where lead counts don’t.

CRM — customer relationship management system: the database of record for contacts and deals — HubSpot, Salesforce and kin.

Evidence: partly checkable — corroborated in part against the sources below; the remainder rests on the agency’s own account.

Contract and pricing transparencyStrong

Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 5% of the total score.

Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 3 · Strong 6 · Adequate 10 · Weak 14 · Poor 2. The typical agency here scores Adequate, and 3 of them score higher than this one.

What this dimension measures: SEO takes months to show, so a fair exit clause matters more here.

Scores high — Month-to-month or short terms with a published pricing anchor score 4-5.

Scores low — 12-month lock-ins score 2. Bespoke-only quoting with no anchor scores 1-2.

What we found — Published anchors: SEO tiers 'From $2,500 /mo*', $3,500 and $5,000 on the SEO page; pricing page lists an All-Access plan at $4,549/mo. The homepage states '$0 setup. Cancel anytime.' and 'No hostage contracts, no lock-in.' The homepage FAQ's floor ('Engagements start at $3,000 per month') differs from the $2,500 anchor, and no written cancellation clause was found. That is the high band above, which is why it scored Strong.

On the record — “The homepage FAQ states 'Engagements start at $3,000 per month, and most clients invest between $5,000 and $15,000 depending on market and goals.'” growlaw.co ↗

On the record — “The SEO page lists tiers 'Steady Growth From $2,500 /mo*' (up to 50 keyphrases), 'Expanded Growth From $3,500 /mo*' (up to 100) and 'Competitive Growth From $5,000 /mo*' (150+).” growlaw.co ↗

Verdict

Grow Law Firm (the domain growlawfirm.com now redirects to growlaw.co, trading as Grow Law) sells SEO, local SEO, AI search optimization, PPC and websites to law firms only. A nonsense-path control on the domain returned a real 404 page, so the pages read below are the pages they claim to be.

The commercial terms are published. The SEO page lists three tiers from $2,500, $3,500 and $5,000 a month with the number of keyphrases and onsite hours in each, the pricing page lists SEO from $2,500 a month and a combined plan at $4,549, and the homepage states '$0 setup.

Cancel anytime.' and that the firm owns its website, content, ad accounts and data. The homepage FAQ gives a different floor ($3,000 a month) from the pricing pages, and no written contract or cancellation clause was found beyond these statements.

The AI-search practice is the most specific part of the site. The generative engine optimization page publishes how visibility is measured: a fixed set of 10 practice-area prompts per client, rerun monthly across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity, reported per platform.

It names concrete steps (allowing OpenAI's search crawler, attorney and practice-area schema) and states that schema does not guarantee a citation. Its outcome figures, such as 33 of 38 clients receiving an AI-attributed lead, are the agency's own.

Reporting is framed around qualified leads and signed cases verified in the client's CRM rather than rankings. The results page lists 24 case studies whose URLs name the firm; the one read (Omar Ochoa Law) gives dates and data sources for each metric. All of those figures come from the agency's own portal or Semrush and were not independently checked.

The thin areas are technical and links. Technical SEO is described in one line (site speed, mobile performance, indexing), and link building as securing 'high-authority backlinks from trusted sources' with no method.

Content is said to be checked by an in-house attorney, but writers and the role of AI in drafting are not described. Clutch and Trustpilot returned HTTP 403, so independent reviews were not measured.

What we verified

Each claim below was checked against a named source, last on 2026-10-21. Follow any of them and check for yourself — that is the point of publishing them.

No independent reviews found

Not measured. Clutch and Trustpilot both returned HTTP 403 to a direct request. The homepage links to Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, Lawyerist and DesignRush profiles but the text read showed no ratings, and none were read at source.

Not finding one is not a mark against the agency and does not move the score. It does mean there is no third-party record to set against ours — so this verdict rests on the rubric and the sources above, and nothing else.
