LawRank review
Worth a conversation about SEO once the caveats below are settled.
A law-firm-only SEO agency that publishes an AI-search method and a case study counted in signed cases, but describes little technical SEO and puts no price or contract term on its site.
Pricing: from $1,000 Reported — not published by the agency
Clutch lists LawRank at 5.0 from 31 reviews with a minimum project size of $1,000+. source ↗
How it scored
Every dimension is scored against this discipline’s published rubric. Open one to see the claim it was scored on, what the rubric measures there and how much it weighs, and where the evidence came from.
How we scored this
We read the agency’s public record first-hand — its site, pricing, case studies and independent reviews — and score what is checkable: what is published, not how it is phrased. There is no keyword counting or sentiment scoring. The label is a judgment on those facts, which is why each dimension shows the fact that decided it, the band it was judged against, and the sources — so you can check the call, and tell us if you think it is wrong. The full method, and who pays, is on how we vet.
Vertical and stage fitStrong
Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 20% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 17 · Strong 9 · Adequate 4 · Weak 5. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 17 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Named clients in the buyer's vertical and stage (B2B SaaS, ecommerce, local, etc.).
Scores low — Direct sector+stage match scores 5; 'we do SEO for everyone' scores 2. Long-sales-cycle B2B SEO is a different craft from ecommerce or local, mismatch scores 1-2.
What we found — Serves law firms only. The site names Anderson Injury Lawyers, Mission Personal Injury Lawyers and Lavent Law in case studies, and attorney testimonials from personal injury, criminal defense and employment practices. A direct match for a law-firm buyer; it does not separate solo practices from multi-office firms.
On the record — “The case studies page lists three studies: Anderson Injury Lawyers (cases), Mission Personal Injury Lawyers (leads) and Lavent Law, P.A. (leads and traffic).” lawrank.com ↗
B2B — business-to-business: selling to companies rather than consumers — longer deals, more decision-makers.
SaaS — software as a service: subscription software; as a client type it brings recurring revenue and metrics like churn and lifetime value.
Evidence: verified — checked against a named source you can open; the links under Sources below are where to check it yourself.
Technical SEO depthWeak
Weak — 2 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 13 · Strong 5 · Adequate 11 · Weak 6. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 29 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Real technical capability: crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, indexation, schema, migrations, JS rendering.
Scores high — Named technical audits and fixes with outcomes score 4-5.
Scores low — 'We'll optimize your meta tags' with no technical substance scores 1-2.
What we found — The SEO service page and the law-firm SEO services page describe on-site work in general terms ('a structure that Google (and your readers) can understand', internal linking) and mention no crawlability, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals, JS rendering or migrations. The Anderson case study lists a technical audit, internal-linking fixes and H-tag analysis, without naming specific fixes and their outcomes. That is what the low band describes, which is why it scored Weak.
On the record — “The case studies page lists three studies: Anderson Injury Lawyers (cases), Mission Personal Injury Lawyers (leads) and Lavent Law, P.A. (leads and traffic).” lawrank.com ↗
On the record — “The SEO service page describes link work as 'This includes media mentions, legal directories, and targeted outreach designed to move you up the search engine rankings.'” lawrank.com ↗

Stronger here: Reboot Online scores Excellent on the same dimension.
Content quality and topical authorityAdequate
Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 18% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 7 · Strong 16 · Adequate 6 · Weak 6. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 23 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Genuinely researched, expert or expert-reviewed content that builds topical authority, not thin AI-generated churn.
Scores high — Named writers/SMEs, editorial process, and content that ranks and converts score 4-5.
Scores low — High-volume, low-differentiation AI content 'at scale' scores 1-2 (Google's helpful-content and AI-slop filters punish it).
What we found — The SEO page states 'our content is written and/or developed by attorneys and JDs' and refers to an 'eight-step process' that is not described. No writers or reviewing attorneys are named and no editorial process is published. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.
On the record — “The SEO service page states 'That's why our content is written and/or developed by attorneys and JDs.'” lawrank.com ↗
On the record — “The SEO service page states 'Yes, we offer semi-exclusivity and exclusivity.' No contract length is stated.” lawrank.com ↗
churn — the rate at which customers cancel.
Evidence: vendor stated — the agency’s own claim, recorded as theirs rather than ours.
Link building integrityAdequate
Adequate — 3 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 12% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 5 · Strong 13 · Adequate 12 · Weak 5. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 18 of them score higher than this one.
Scores high — Earned links via digital PR, original data, and genuine outreach score 4-5.
Scores low — PBNs, link networks, mass guest-post buying, or 'we'll build 50 links/month' packages score 1-2 (penalty risk). Silence on how links are earned scores 2.
What we found — Link sources are stated as 'media mentions, legal directories, and targeted outreach'; the Anderson case lists directory placements on Justia, Avvo, FindLaw and Mediate. No link-count packages or paid networks appear, but no digital PR or original-data examples are shown either. That is between the two bands, which is why it scored Adequate.
On the record — “The SEO service page describes link work as 'This includes media mentions, legal directories, and targeted outreach designed to move you up the search engine rankings.'” lawrank.com ↗

AEO / GEO for AI searchStrong
Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 7 · Strong 14 · Adequate 5 · Weak 6 · Poor 3. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 7 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: The 2026 differentiator. Does the agency have a real practice for getting the client cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Reddit visibility)? Buzzword-only with no substance scores 3.
Scores high — Named methodology and examples score 4-5.
Scores low — No mention of AI search / answer-engine optimization scores 2 (behind the curve).
What we found — A dedicated AIO page publishes a method: entity and authority foundation via structured data, AI-citable content, competitive positioning in AI answers, and a mention-rate report 'by AI platform, competitive share of voice, sentiment across AI-generated responses'. ChatGPT and Gemini are named; Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are not. No AIO client results are published, and the 60 to 90 day timeline is the agency's own claim. That is the high band above, which is why it scored Strong.
On the record — “The AIO page describes reporting of 'mention rate by AI platform, competitive share of voice, sentiment across AI-generated responses' and states 'We do not offer AIO as a standalone service.'” lawrank.com ↗

Measurement tied to pipeline, not just rankingsStrong
Strong — 4 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 15% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 8 · Strong 10 · Adequate 8 · Weak 9. The typical agency here scores Strong, and 8 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: Ties SEO to pipeline/revenue (organic-sourced pipeline, conversions, assisted revenue) rather than keyword-ranking screenshots.
Scores high — Pipeline/revenue reporting scores 4-5.
Scores low — Rankings-and-traffic-only reporting scores 1-2, especially given AI Overviews are cutting clicks even when rankings hold.
What we found — The Anderson case study reports agency-attributed signed cases (7 to 50 a month) and calls (714 to 1,793 a month) alongside rankings, and the agency says call tracking runs on paid campaigns. The attribution method is not published, the headline (614%) and stats block (600%) differ, and the other two case studies report leads and traffic only. The SEO page commits only to 'tools you need so that you can track KPIs' without naming them. That is the high band above, which is why it scored Strong.
On the record — “The Anderson Injury Lawyers case study is headed 'How a Texas Personal Injury Firm Grew SEO-Attributed Cases by 614%' and reports LawRank-attributed cases rising from 7 to 50 a month and monthly calls from 714 to 1,793; its stats block gives 600%.” lawrank.com ↗
On the record — “The case studies page lists three studies: Anderson Injury Lawyers (cases), Mission Personal Injury Lawyers (leads) and Lavent Law, P.A. (leads and traffic).” lawrank.com ↗
pipeline — the dollar value of open, qualified deals sales is working. “Pipeline created” ties marketing to money, where lead counts don’t.
attribution — working out which marketing touch actually caused a sale. Good practice names its model and its blind spots; bad practice quotes each ad platform’s self-graded numbers, which overlap and overclaim.
Evidence: vendor stated — the agency’s own claim, recorded as theirs rather than ours.
Contract and pricing transparencyWeak
Weak — 2 of 5 on this rubric’s scale, from Poor (1) to Excellent (5). This dimension carries 5% of the total score.
Benchmark — across the 35 other agencies evaluated in this discipline, this dimension runs Excellent 3 · Strong 7 · Adequate 10 · Weak 13 · Poor 2. The typical agency here scores Adequate, and 20 of them score higher than this one.
What this dimension measures: SEO takes months to show, so a fair exit clause matters more here.
Scores high — Month-to-month or short terms with a published pricing anchor score 4-5.
Scores low — 12-month lock-ins score 2. Bespoke-only quoting with no anchor scores 1-2.
What we found — No price, range or minimum on the site. The SEO page FAQ answers 'How much will it cost?' with 'It depends' and a competitive analysis; it offers 'semi-exclusivity and exclusivity' but states no contract length or exit term. Clutch's profile lists a $1,000+ minimum project size, which is the only published anchor found. That is what the low band describes, which is why it scored Weak.
On the record — “The SEO service page states 'Yes, we offer semi-exclusivity and exclusivity.' No contract length is stated.” lawrank.com ↗

Verdict
LawRank sells SEO, PPC, AI optimization (it calls it AIO), web design and social media to law firms only, mostly personal injury and criminal defense. A nonsense-path control on its domain returned a real 404.
The AI-search practice is described in more detail than most. The AIO page sets out entity and authority work, content written to be cited, competitor tracking in AI answers, and a mention-rate report by AI platform, share of voice and sentiment.
It names ChatGPT and Gemini and says AIO is sold only alongside an SEO engagement. It publishes no AIO results.
The headline case study is reported in signed cases rather than rankings alone: Anderson Injury Lawyers is shown going from 7 to 50 cases a month attributed to the agency, with monthly calls from 714 to 1,793. These are the agency's own figures, with no stated attribution method, and the page's headline 614% sits beside a 600% figure in its own stats. The two other case studies report leads and traffic.
The gaps are on method and terms. The SEO service page mentions no crawl, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals or migration work; the only technical detail found is a technical audit and internal-linking fixes listed in the Anderson case. Content is said to be 'written and/or developed by attorneys and JDs', with no writers named.
Links come from 'media mentions, legal directories, and targeted outreach', and the case study lists directory placements on Justia, Avvo and FindLaw. The FAQ answers 'How much will it cost?' with no figure, and no contract length is stated. Clutch lists the agency with a $1,000+ minimum project size and 31 reviews averaging 5.0.

What other platforms say
