Designjoy review
A genuinely one-person agency — the founder does all the work and employs nobody — which makes brand continuity structurally perfect and throughput structurally capped at one request at a time, for $4,995 a month.
Pricing: $4,995–$5,995 per month Published by the agency
Published flat price of $4,995/month, shown against a crossed-out $5,995 as a "Lifetime Discount - Limited Time". source ↗
Verdict
Designjoy is the clearest trade-off in this category, and it is honest about both halves of it. "Designjoy is a one-man agency, ran by Brett, the founder. Designjoy does not employ other designers, or outsource work to any other entity." Nothing else evaluated here states its structure that plainly, and the consequences run in both directions. On continuity it is unbeatable. The dimension exists because a designer who has already learned the brand does not relearn it every request, and the failure it guards against — different hands producing inconsistent work for the same brand — is what cut Design Pickle from this library. A single named principal cannot drift between designers, because there are no other designers. That is the strongest continuity position available, and it is structural rather than promised. On throughput it is the tightest constraint here. One request active at a time, average 48-hour delivery. That is one person's capacity and no amount of money changes it — there is no higher tier, because there is nobody to add. At $4,995/month a buyer is paying roughly what Designity charges for two to three concurrent projects and a creative director, in exchange for one person's undivided attention on one thing at a time. Commercial terms are clean and unusually well specified: flat published pricing, pause or cancel anytime, 31-day billing cycles, and unused days roll forward when paused rather than being forfeited — a detail most vendors leave vague and which materially changes the cost of an uneven month. What is missing: motion and video are explicitly excluded, so this covers static design, brand, UI/UX, presentations and Webflow development only. No brand intake or review step is described, though the one-person structure substitutes for one. And nothing is said about source files, which is a real gap when the entire operation is one person — continuity is perfect right up until it isn't, and a buyer should establish what they hold if the single point of failure becomes unavailable.

What other platforms say
No independent review base located first-hand.
These are other platforms' numbers, not ours. We report them because they are part of the picture, and we do not average them into our score — our score comes from the published rubric above.
Red flags
- A single-person operation is a single point of failure. Continuity is structurally perfect and availability is structurally fragile, and only the first is addressed publicly. Establish the second before committing at this price.
- "Lifetime Discount - Limited Time" pairs two claims that contradict each other, against a crossed-out $5,995 that may never be the price anyone pays. Treat $4,995 as the price, not as a saving.
- At $4,995/month for one concurrent request, this costs about the same as options offering two to three concurrent projects plus a creative director. The premium buys attention, not volume — make sure attention is what the brief needs.
How it scored
Real throughput and concurrency
"One request at a time" with average 48-hour delivery. A serial queue with a hard ceiling: one person's capacity, and no tier exists to raise it because there is nobody to add. Scored the same as other single-slot models in this category.
Designer continuity
A single named principal who employs no other designers and outsources to no one. The strongest continuity position structurally available — drift between designers is impossible when there is only one.
Scope breadth
Logos, branding, social, email, UI/UX, icons, brand guides, slide decks, web design and Webflow development. Motion and animated graphics are explicitly excluded, as is video.
Brand consistency at volume
No intake process or review step is described, but the one-person structure is the same structural answer that earns persistent teams a high score here: the person delivering already holds the brand. Inferred from structure rather than a stated mechanism.
Revision and rejection policy
"We'll continue to revise the design until you're 100% satisfied" is published. Whether a revision occupies the single active slot is not stated — and on a one-slot queue that is the most consequential unanswered question here.
Pricing, pause and exit
Flat $4,995/month published, pause or cancel anytime, 31-day cycles, and unused days roll forward when paused rather than being forfeited. That rollover detail is more specific than anything else in this category.
Source-file ownership
No statement on source files or copyright transfer. The gap matters more here than elsewhere: with a single-person operation, what the client holds if that person becomes unavailable is a live question.
What we could not verify
- Whether a revision occupies the single active slot
- What the client receives in source files, and who holds copyright
- What happens to an active subscription if the sole principal is unavailable — illness, holiday, or otherwise
- How long the "Limited Time" lifetime discount has been running
- Whether an independent review base exists
